How can I customize the WhatsAppify chat widget?

You can fully customize the look and feel of the WhatsAppify chat widget from your AppifyCommerce dashboard.

Available Customization Options

Widget Position

Choose where the chat widget appears on your website:

  • Bottom-right (default)
  • Bottom-left

Widget Appearance

  • Button color — Match the widget color to your brand.
  • Button icon — Choose from different WhatsApp icon styles.
  • Button size — Adjust the size of the floating chat button.

Welcome Message

  • Set a custom welcome message that appears when visitors hover over or click the chat widget.
  • Configure a pre-filled message that auto-populates in the customer's WhatsApp when they initiate a chat.

Auto-Response Templates

  • Create templates for frequently asked questions so customers get instant replies.
  • Set up business hours messages to let visitors know when you're available.

Steps to Customize

  1. Log in to your AppifyCommerce dashboard.
  2. Go to the WhatsAppify app settings.
  3. Adjust widget colors, position, and messages as needed.
  4. Click Save to apply the changes.

Changes are reflected on your website immediately — no need to update the script.
