How does like/dislike feedback work after a try-on?

FitMagik lets shoppers rate each successful virtual try-on with a quick thumbs up or thumbs down on the result screen. This helps you understand whether shoppers like the generated try-on result and which products are performing well visually.

What shoppers see

After the try-on result appears, shoppers see a small feedback prompt asking how the result looks. They can tap:

  • Thumbs up if they like the result
  • Thumbs down if the result is not convincing

The feedback step is optional. It does not block the shopper from copying a discount code, continuing to browse, or checking out.

Where merchants see feedback

Open the FitMagik DashboardAnalytics and check the Customer satisfaction section.

The dashboard shows:

  • Satisfaction rate — the percentage of shoppers who gave a thumbs up
  • Loved it — total thumbs up responses
  • Not for me — total thumbs down responses

Only try-ons where shoppers submit feedback are counted in this metric. If a shopper skips the prompt, that try-on is not included in the satisfaction percentage.

How to use this data

Use feedback together with try-on volume, leads, and conversions:

  • A high satisfaction rate usually means your product photos and try-on experience are working well.
  • A low satisfaction rate can point to product images, angles, categories, or styling that need review.
  • Products with many try-ons and low satisfaction are good candidates for better product photos or disabling the try-on button.

Privacy and behavior

FitMagik stores the thumbs up/down choice on the try-on record with a timestamp. It does not ask shoppers to write comments, and feedback submission does not send a message to the shopper.

If the feedback request fails because of a network issue, the shopper experience continues normally.

Common questions

Why is my satisfaction rate 0%?

This usually means shoppers have not submitted any feedback yet. Once customers start tapping thumbs up or thumbs down, the dashboard will update.

Why are feedback counts lower than total try-ons?

Feedback is optional. Many shoppers will view the result and continue shopping without rating it, so feedback totals are usually lower than total try-ons.
